When we wanted to take our waste processing to the next level, we decided to work with the best facilities around.

Our waste tyres are processed by Sapphire Energy Recovery, a joint effort between the tyre and cement industries. Sapphire came up with the idea of chipping the tyres for use in the cement industry.

Since inception, the company has processed more than 50 million tyres saving close to a million cubic metres of landfill and helping build a multitude of cement based buildings and roads that would have otherwise required alternative raw materials.

Sapphire work closely to all legislative requirements and standards, fully ISO 9001 approved over £15m has been spent developing it’s systems by founding partners Michelin Tyres and Lafarge Cement and we’re proud to be associated with them.
